Where to start? What to do?
Back in 2012, I had a desire to start an online business but I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t know where to start so I just did something and well … it wasn’t pretty. I found an amazing online resource that teaches people how to succeed online but at first, I was very skeptical. I signed up for their free account and built a website… free. Then I started getting traffic to my website, made a sale and the rest was history. I was hooked. I knew this worked as long as I would “work it”.
This is NOT a get rich quick scheme and you’ll only get out of it what you put in… but I can tell you affiliate marketing works. I’ve made money using affiliate marketing and other online methods and it all started by learning new skills… honestly, skills that anyone can learn and master.
Many struggle financially and don’t know how to dig out of their money mess. Others simply want to start a business or jump-start a new career. Most need practical steps on how to succeed. Our name, Affiliate Marketing Resources, is meant to be just that – a resource where affiliate marketers and other online business people can find resources. A path forward. No get rich quick solutions, no bull, no gurus just resources.

My wife and I have been married for 13 years and we have a beautiful 8-year-old daughter who keeps us very busy. I love being a husband and dad and I can sum me up by saying I’m all about family. For years I struggled with how to start a business from home with no money. I went to college and got a bachelor’s degree in business. Then I started an MBA program and eventually just dropped out. Why? Because I wasn’t truly learning how to start a business from scratch but rather they were teaching things that I could use in the corporate world or within an already developed business … but I wanted more for my family.
I would say I’ve been a bit of a dreamer in my life. Hey, dreams are good but they simply stay dreams unless you put some goals in place and create an action plan to pursue them. Like many people, I had often dreamed about having my business, being my own boss. However, I did what many people do, I got a job right out of high school and started making a little money and eventually relinquished the dream. I actually started to spiral out of control in many ways, just living life, spending more than I made. It was crazy. No real direction in life whatsoever. I expected life and success to come to me rather than pursuing my dreams relentlessly.
Little did I know things would soon change for the better!
Some time ago, my family moved away from our mid-western home, out of our comfort zone and we moved way out west. During this time, I was taking some schooling and being challenged on a daily basis to dream again, to believe again. My life started changing. I started looking at things differently. I started believing in my ability to be a success once again. I have always known I’d be in business for myself one day yet I didn’t know how to make it happen. I always saw myself with my own successful online business and now that is exactly what I’m doing.
I have experienced a lot in the online world and I hope to help you break out of your rut in life and find success. You truly can find success online an change your life – one step at a time. You can start with no money whatsoever. That’s great news – it was for me.
